Gorenje repays commercial paper holders GRV05
The company Gorenje, d.d., paid out on Friday, the 22nd of December, 2017, the holders of commercial paper issued on the 24th of January, 2017 with the total face value repaid amounts to EUR 40.0 million.
The 22nd of December, 2017, is the maturity date for commercial paper GRV05, issued on the 24th of January, 2017 with a total face value of EUR 40.0 million and an interest rate of 1.30%. The purpose of the commercial paper issue is to diversify the short-term financing sources, financing of operations with a pronounced seasonal dynamic, and optimization of financing costs.
To accommodate its seasonal requirements for financing of operations, the company Gorenje, d.d., will commence at the beginning of 2018 for the sixth consecutive time the procedure for a new issue of commercial paper. To this end, the company will start, after the release of this notification, the pre-issue activities in the capital market (market sounding), which will be followed by the offering process to be completed with subscription and payment for new commercial paper, which is planned by the beginning of February 2018. Anticipated volume of the issue shall be similar as this year.
