Gorenje is proud of the triumphs of Slovenian ski jumping team

Golden medal won by the Slovenian ski jumping team in the team event on January 12 in Zakopane was followed by a sliver medal won by Robert Kranjec in Saporo a week later. Kranjec is evidently reaching his top form, just in time for the ski flying events on January 26 and 27 in Vikersund where he was crowned world champion last year. Gorenje proudly congratulates on these excellent results.

January rife with top achievements of Slovenian ski jumpers

Slovenian ski jumping team celebrated highly successful appearances in the first days of the new year. On January 6, Peter Prevc completed the Four Hills Tournament in 8th place after the Bischofshofen event; on January 9, Robert Kranjec took fourth place in Wisła; first place in the team event in Zakopane on January 12 was the main highlight of the month; on January 19th, Robert Kranjec topped it with a silver medal in Saporo. Kranjec is evidently reaching his top form, just in time for the ski flying events on January 26 and 27 in Vikersund where he was crowned world champion last year.

Management of the Ski Association treated the jumpers to the traditional champagne and cake to celebrate the Zakopane victory. After the game, chairman Primož Ulaga, pleased about the results, commented at the press conference: "We have reached the very top in several disciplines in this season; now, the ski jumpers follow suit. Excellent results are the perfect invitation for all fans to join us in Planica in late March."
