Ambassadors visiting Gorenje admired the SmarTable

On Thursday, March 31^st 2011, a group of foreign ambassadors responded to the initiative by the Regional Development Agency of the Savinjsko-Šaleška (SAŠA) region, Institute for Promotion of Synergy, Subsidiarity, and Solidarity, and mayors of the municipalities of the SAŠA region, and accepted the invitation to visit Velenje. The ambassadors include those accredited in Slovenia or those in charge of Slovenia from an office abroad. The purpose of the meeting was to introduce them to the Savinjsko-Šaleška region and to promote their involvement in the integral development of the region. Their visit also included a presentation of the Gorenje Group and their products.

The meeting was attended by 30 ambassadors, mostly from Europe, but also from Egypt, India, Japan, China, Venezuela, and USA. Also present at the meeting were the mayors of municipalities in the SAŠA region, representatives of local communities, and businesspeople of the SAŠA region. At Gorenje, the guests were welcomed by Mr. Drago Bahun, Gorenje management board member, Mr. Aleksander Uranc, head of marketing, and Mrs. Lidija Pritržnik, designer and creative director for Gorenje brands. During the tour of Gorenje showroom, the SmarTable with remotely controlled fully integrated refrigerator concealed in the foot proved a true attention-grabber. Furthermore, special attention was paid to Gorenje's most recent innovation, oven with the iChef⁺ control module. On their visit, the guests also visited the Topolšica Spa and the company BSH Home Appliances.
