Slovenian ski jumpers won bronze in Oslo

At the last ski jumping challenge on Saturday, 5 March 2011, at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo, Norway, Slovenian ski jumpers Robert Kranjec, Jernej Damjan, Peter Prevc and Jurij Tepeš won a bronze medal in a ski jumps team challenge. On Monday, 7 March 2011, Gorenje prepared a warm reception to all Oslo winners at the Gorenje headquarters, while Slovenian Ski Association prepared a news conference.

Gorenje CEO Franjo Bobinac and Gorenje board member Drago Bahun, who is also an honourable director of Planica organisational committee, proudly congratulated to the all Slovenian FIS Nordic World Ski Championships Oslo winners. Slovenia won a bronze medal in team ski jumps with Robert Kranjec, Peter Prevc, Jurij Tepeš and Jernej Damjan. Also bronze was Petra Majdič in individual sprint free ski run competition, won on Thursday, 24 February 2011. 

At this end of the week, 12 – 13 March 2011, some further Nordic world cup competitions will happen in Lahti, Finland. A week later, from 18 to 20 March 2011, the most expected event in Nordic disciplines for Slovenians will happen in Planica, where the final world cup ski jumps in this season will traditionally took place.
