Four Good Industrial Design Awards to ATAG kitchen appliances

Four ATAG kitchen appliances have been awarded a Good Industrial Design Award 2010 - the only Dutch award for design excellence - on Friday, 22nd of October, at the start of the Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven, Netherland, which will took place until the end of this week. The Dutch manufacturer of kitchen appliances received a Good Industrial Design Award for the HG9711CA gas hob with Easy Flame Control, the HI7271S induction hob with Iris Slide Control®, the SQ4392T combination steam oven in Graphite-black, and the DX6211L double oven.

Hobs and intuitive design

As kitchen specialists, Gorenje's ATAG products play a pioneering role in intuitive design. The ATAG HG9711CA gas hob has an electronic safety device. The 90 cm wide design hob has rapid and efficient A+ gas burners, including an extremely powerful wok burner. The gas hob is available in stylish stainless steel and Graphite-black. The HI7271S induction hob with Iris Slide Control® is part of ATAG’s exclusive MAGNA design line. The intuitive, user-friendly controls are unique.

Multifunctional ovens

ATAG also has a wide range of combination microwaves and ovens. With the award-winning SQ4392T combination steam oven cooking enthusiasts can steam, bake, roast and/or grill. The Graphite-black model is an attractive alternative to stainless steel built-in appliances. The DX6211L multifunctional double oven has a culisensor, 23 oven functions and 42 automatic programmes. A divider enables the oven, with drop-down grill element and hot-air fan, to be divided into two full ovens.
