New distribution centre in Slovakia
On the 26th June 2008 Gorenje opened a new distribution centre with minor, 180 square meters large, administration building with a shop and two warehouses, which are together 4.300 square meters large, in a city Stožok in Slovakia, which is positioned 220 kilometres east from Slovakian main capital Bratislava.
Main reasons for investment valued 2,7 million Euros are sales expansion in Slovakia and high rent costs of warehouses capacities. Building the centre which is connected directly to the railway lasted from August 2007 until April 2008.
