Gorenje once again the best foreign brand produced in Serbia
For the twelfth year in a row, the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, and the Ministry of Commerce, Tourism, and Telecommunication, selected in the campaign titled "The Best from Serbia" the best brands and companies as rated based on their financial and market achievements. Gorenje was once again found the best foreign brand made in Serbia. The campaign included 140 companies with 196 brands, vying for the title of the best.
The sign "The Best from Serbia" is a symbol of quality and trust from both the customers and business partners. "For Gorenje, this proves that the customers have recognized the innovation, modern technology, quality, and reliability of our appliances, as well as the comprehensive service that we provide through our after-sales services, and by which we have been building their trust for many years," stresses Gorenje Belgrade managing director Stanka Pejanović.
The campaign "The Best from Serbia" has gained credibility and objectivity owing to its scientific methodology conceived and developed in cooperation with the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade. This year, the methodology of selection of the best brands has been updated. Thus, the selection is based on actual financial and business results, opinions of the customers, industry professionals, and business partners, and ratings provided by members of the jury are merely a part of the entire mosaic contributing to the objectivity of the reward.
A decade of successful production in Serbia
Gorenje employs around 2,500 people in Serbia. In the ten years since the launch of the factories in Valjevo and Stara Pazova, the company has produced more than five million refrigerators for the global market and more than three million water heaters. The award "The Best from Serbia" is a token of recognition not only for Gorenje but also for many suppliers with whom we cooperate in Serbia.
