For “Gorenje” inscription, the English type of letters is chosen: helvetica medium outline. The letter construction of helvetica type in comparison to other types is rather simple, of clear contours in high aesthetic quality and very easy to read. Thickness of lines creating letters is almost the same, irrespective of the shape of the letters which is very important when reproducing them in smaller of bigger sizes. This is why the possibility of deformation is very slight, which is also one of the main reasons for selecting this type of letters in the construction of “Gorenje” inscription.

In applying logotype it is necessary that the minimum permitted deviation from adjacent elements is considered, which is determinedwith the height (Y) and width (X) of the letter “e”.
