Gorenje Group's financial report comes out on top again
Gorenje Group's financial report wins the annual report contest again. Such was the decision of an expert jury evaluating the annual reports submitted for the best 2013 annual report contest. The contest was organized by the Finance daily paper for the 15th consecutive year. Gorenje is a perennial winner of the best annual report award; its financial report was declared the best last year's instalment of the contest.
The award was accepted at a festive ceremony by Iztok Pustatičnik, executive director of controlling and accounting at Gorenje Group, commenting: "Drawing up of the financial part of the annual report includes a broad team of employees and this award is commendation of their work." He went on to stress: "In the last two years, Gorenje Group completed challenging strategic shifts of manufacturing operations, restructured its sales network, and it operated a widespread network of companies in Slovenia and abroad. The biggest challenge in preparing the financial report was to provide transparency and comparability of information after all changes that had taken place."
