Gorenje Orodjarna wins three Forma Tool awards
Gorenje Orodjarna remained loyal to its tradition of participating in the international Forma Tool tradeshow. At this year's instalment which took place from April 16 to 19 at the Celje fairground, they presented two tools and one measuring device. They received awards for all three showcased products.

Gold, silver, and bronze medal for Gorenje Orodjarna
Toolmaking tradition dates back more than 60 years at Gorenje. For the last 20 years, the toolmaking company Gorenje Orodjarna, d.o.o., has been a subsidiary of Gorenje which holds its 100-percent share. Gorenje Orodjarna offers support to production processes at the Gorenje Group both in terms of tools maintenance and in terms of development and production of new tools and measurement systems. Most third-party commissions come from the automotive industry. With over 200 employees, Gorenje Orodjarna is among the largest tool making companies in the region. Its activities include development and production of sheet metal shaping tools, plastics injection tools, polystyrene shaping tools, and thermoforming tools. In the last three years, the equipment was thoroughly revised and updated in order to optimize production and cut manufacturing costs.
Gold medal was presented for the intelligent tool capable of automatic adaptation, which was developed and manufactured as a part of the Seventh Framework Programme of the EU.
Silver medal was presented for the bearing testing device developed and manufactured in cooperation with the Ljubljana Faculty of Mechanical Engineering for the requirements of Gorenje's washing machine and dryer program.
Bronze medal was won for the progressive tool made for a customer from the automotive industry.
