New Gorenje and Marles Kitchen Programs Presented at Velenje Trade Show

On Friday, the two-day Gorenje Trade Show 2010@Home Interior came to a close. The event that took place at Gorenje's Velenje Showroom was dedicated particularly to presenting new kitchen furniture programs of the Gorenje and Marles brands, scheduled for launch in the markets in June. In addition to thoroughly redesigned kitchen furniture, the fair also presented some novelties in home appliances, other furniture, bathrooms, as well as ceramic tiles.

Gorenje has gained a competitive edge by developing a comprehensive offer that comprises the entire assortment of home equipment ranging from home appliances and matching kitchen and other furniture, to ceramic tiles and bathroom fixtures.

"This time, our focus was on pointing out the novelties in kitchen furniture and the fact that the new generation of kitchens designed according to the latest fashion and in sync with Gorenje home appliance lines, comprise a truly comprehensive offer of kitchen equipment. Positive response by our business partners indicate that we are on the right path. Needless to say, there is still a lot to be done; yet it is still our long-term goal to become the leading kitchen furniture brand in the markets of the Western Balkans. Furthermore, quality and trendy offer of kitchen furniture is undoubtedly furthering the competitiveness of the Gorenje brand in the segment of built-in home appliances as well," commented Mr. Uroš Marolt, Gorenje Management Board member in charge of interior equipment at the end of the fair.

The fair was attended by nearly 700 business partners and reporters from 24 countries including Slovenia, Croatia, Austria, Italy, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and some other European countries, as well as more remote Asian countries where Gorenje brand is primarily present with its major appliances.

Repositioning the Gorenje and Marles brands

Gorenje Home Interior has nearly six decades of tradition in manufacturing kitchen furniture. In the year of its 60th anniversary, Gorenje is entering the markets with completely revamped program of kitchens of the Gorenje and Marles brands, which were revised, refreshed, and made into a coherent assortment. Some of the best selling ranges were kept, particularly the Delta program that has been met by the customers with great fondness, while others were optimized or replaced with selected new kitchen programs. These measures will improve competitiveness while the clear sales strategy and a rich sales program are expected to boost sales.

3D kitchen rendering

Gorenje Trade Show 2010@Home Interior in Velenje also featured the introduction of 3D design and rendering software called "3D Carat" of the German company Carat. For the first time in Slovenia, visitors of the trade show were able to view new kitchens rendered with the Carat software employed in Gorenje for kitchen design. As of this fall, visitors of Gorenje's Velenje Showroom will be able to view the models in 3D technology that allows a visual and spatial experience of the kitchen before its final printout is made – undoubtedly a great asset to the showroom.
