Gorenje Extends its Business Network in the United Arab Emirates
On March 24th 2010, Gorenje and Elenco General Trading, their local partner in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, signed an exclusive distribution agreement defining their cooperation in new projects involving the Körting brand.
United Arab Emirates consist of seven emirates. The capital, Abu Dhabi, is located in the richest and economically highly active emirate bearing the same name. Despite the global recession, Abu Dhabi's growth remains strong, fuelled by extensive supplies of oil and vigilant investment into real estate. In the last 12 months, Gorenje won four major contracts for equipping residential and commercial buildings. Gorenje's strongest reference project to date is supplying the equipment for the Rotana Royal House hotel in the centre of the city.
