Gorenje at the Ljubljana Furniture Fair
Ljubljana Furniture Fair is the most prominent event of its kind in Slovenia; this year, it took place from 3 to 9 November. In the ground floor of the B exhibition hall, Gorenje displayed a selection of novelties and achievements in which the company takes particular pride.
Among these is the innovatively designed Gorenje "Made for iPod" refrigerator which enables the application of the world's most popular music playback device. The essential message of this product is that modern information technology is making the use of household appliances increasingly simpler and more fun. The specially designed Gorenje refrigerator enables charging the iPod on a built-in docking station, playback of music and video viabuilt-in speakers, and access to the World Wide Web, if a wireless internet connection is available in the apartment. As the iPod has conquered the world, so the innovative Gorenje appliances with interactive functions are conquering the contemporary kitchens and anticipate new trends.
Also displayed was the innovative COMPACT XL compact kitchen which was ranked by an international professional jury among the ten best designs of this year's fair; the kitchen also received the prestigious "Zlata Vez" (Golden Tie) award, presented by GZS (Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia) and GR (Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre). Compact XL is a mini kitchen with countless options of use. It is designed to suit the contemporary lifestyle of a successful individual or a young family looking to adjust their home to their preferences, freely and loosely. Colonization of lofts, abandoned industrial facilities and attics in historical town centres actually offers and calls for new forms of organization of the living space. The kitchen Compact XL is perfectly suited for the apartments that elude the conventional floor plan or layout. A challenge for the future.
The "Zlata Vez" (Golden Tie) award winning COMPACT XL was also selected among the ten best designs of this year's fair.
The novelties also include the trendy Gorenje Ora-Ïto White Collection, the alluring version of Gorenje's hit Ora-Ïto collection in black. It is displayed in the trendy kitchen ambient dubbed Gorenje Snow White which also saw its debut at this year's fair. The Snow White will impress with the minimalism of pure lines that are in perfect tune with the Gorenje Ora-Ïto White Collection appliances. A refined harmony in white; the white elegance, that is bound to enchant.
Also displayed in Gorenje's exhibition area are some of the new Gorenje Premium and Marles kitchen ambiances, as well as some novelties from the ceramic tile and bathroom program and Gorenje Home Interior furniture program.
