Gorenje at the 7th International Fair of Household Appliances in Tehran

In the capital city of Iran, Tehran, the 7^th International Fair of Household Appliances took from 18 till 21 December 2007 place. Gorenje presented at the show its range of dishwashers, washing machines, cooking appliances, fridge-freezers and small household appliances as well as the fridge-freezer paved with the hand-embedded Crystalized^TM Swarowski elements and technologically advanced and excellently designed appliances from its own collections Gorenje Ora-Ïto and Gorenje Pininfarina.  

Gorenje has been involved in the market of the Middle East through its daughter company Gorenje Gulf with the head office in Dubai. The company was established two years ago. Last year sales volume in the markets of the Saudi Arab Emirates, Iran, Azerbaijan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Yemen, Qatar and Bahrain amounted to 6 million euros. This year an increase in sales of 15 percent is expected.

Gorenje’s participation at the 7^th International Fair of Household Appliances in Tehran was a further step in increasing the level of recognisability of Gorenje’s trade mark in the Iranian market. Gorenje will already in the following months present its household programs on three new locations in Iran. Two showrooms will be open in Tehran, whereas in the city of Isfahan a showroom for displaying appliances is planned.

We are satisfied with the achieved results. Our main challenge for the present year is to increase sales and to succeed in launching sales activities in Saudi Arabia."
