Following the Premium Touch washing machine in the year 2004, and the Premium Touch fridge and freezer in 2005, which both received the Plus x Award in the category Ease of use, this year Gorenje received the Plus x Award™ 2006 for the third time in a row.
This time the awarded appliance was the fridge and freezer Gorenje Pininfarina in the category of Design.
The reasons behind the decision of the jury to grant the Plus x Award™ 2006 to the Gorenje Pinifarina fridge and freezer lies above all in the careful selection of colours, forms and materials, all brought into a harmonized integrity. The Plus x Award™ is granted by the expert jury including the representatives of professional and trading magazines dealing with household appliances from all around Europe. To win the award the product must be assessed as the best in their product group on European market at least in one out of three assessed categories of innovation, design, or user friendliness. Six different product groups have been competing for the Plus x Award™ including the world of the car entertainment, consumer electronics, telecommunication, IT, photo technology, and domestic appliances. The sign of the Plus x Award™ recognizable by it’s +x symbol communicates high quality of the brand.
