17th Apr 2007 At the 9th Formatool fair, taking place from April 17th to 20th 2007 in Celje, Slovenia, a tool production company Gorenje Orodjarna won two awards for exhibited tools. Gold medal for the best exhibited tool for the BMW car engine support frame, and bronze medal for the tool for manufacturing RM 60 plastic door handles for Gorenje refrigerators.
18th Apr 2007 Planet GV and the HRM magazine announced the Human Resource Manager of the Year 2007 that was awarded to Mr. Drago Bahun, member of the Gorenje Management Board. Award was presented to him on April 18th, 2007 in Portorož, Slovenia.
25th May 2007 Gorenje's black fridge-freezer with 3,500 CRYSTALLIZED™ - Swarovski crystals received the Plus x Award™ 2007 in the category Ease of use. This is a third Plus x Award™ in category Ease of use for Gorenje and was presented to Gorenje on May 25th, 2007 in Cologne, Germany.
07th May 2007 Gorenje’s SmarTable received a nomination for the award Le Grand Prix de l'Innovation for innovations at the fair Foire de Paris in France.
29th May 2007 Aleksander Uranc from Gorenje is Slovenian Marketing Manager of the Year 2007. Award was presented to him on May 29th, 2007 in Portorož, Slovenia, from Slovenian Marketing Association.
14th Jun 2007 Vesna Petkovšek, head of the internal communications in Gorenje, received the "InJo award 2007" in the category »The Recognition for the best contribution on innovations in company newspapers« for the article »Growth is the result of good managed innovation process«, published by the magazine of company Gorenje Pika na G. Award was presented to her on June 14th, 2007 in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
20th Sep 2007 Slovenian Chamber of Commerce has granted Silver award to Gorenje's innovation a fridge-freezers push handle of innovator Peter Groznik.

10th Oct 2007 Gorenje's SmarTable recevied a nomination for the Big award of Design Observeur 08 from the French Agency for Promotion of Industrial Creation and was displayed among the prestigious group of products in Paris in Cité des Sciences.
18th Oct 2007 Slovenian Association for public relations has granted the Primus award 2007 for the best Slovenian manager at excellence in communication to Franjo Bobinac, president and CEO Gorenje.
23rd Oct 2007 Gorenje is the Best E-Enterprise among the Large enterprises in Slovenia, Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Nov 2007 German Institute for Applied Ecology Öko-Institut E. V. from Freiburg ranked the Gorenje RB 4139 W refrigerator on the 1st place on the list of the ten most ecologically sound, or environment-friendly, appliances within the EcoTopTen initiative.

13th Nov 2007 Brand Gorenje received the trusted brand title in the field of household appliances in Slovenia, along with the special award – the Pegasus sculpture, held by Mladinska knjiga publishing company and the editorial board of the Reader's Digest Slovenia magazine.
