Dr Jože Zagožen

Chairman

Born in 1951. He is Chairman of the Management Board of Holding slovenske elektrarne, d.o.o.. Dr Zagožen has a PhD in economics. His professional career started at Gorenje. He managed the Department of Organisation and Informatics, and as Vice - President of Gorenje he also served on the business reorganisation/restructuring committee. In 1991 he took a job at the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Slovenia as General Director of the Directorate of Logistics; later, he was employed at Tiskarna ljudske pravice and at TER d.o.o. In 1996 he became a Member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia, where he was also Chairman of the Committee on the Economy. In 2000 he was Minister of Economic Affairs in the Government of the Republic of Slovenia. In the period 1994 – 1998 he was Councillor at the Ljubljana City Council and Chairman of the Town Planning Committee; he was re - elected as Councillor in the period 2002-2006.  Holding in Gorenje: 466 GRVG shares.

Peter Ješovnik, M.Econ.

Member

Born in 1969, is director of the Public Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Enterpreneurship and Foreign Investments. In 1995 he graduated from the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ljubljana with a major in international relations, and got his Master’s degree in international economics from the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana. In the period 1997 – 2001 he was an associate and Senior Lecturer for marketing and macroeconomic environment at the Faculty of Management in Koper. In 2001 he joined the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, where he was Head of Department of European Affairs. He was also an active member of the National Forum as part of the European Convention on the Draft Treaty Establishing a Constitution for Europe. In 2004, he was appointed a member of Team Europe by the European Commission. He is on the board of the Strategic Council for Economic Development and the Reforms Council. Since 2005 and till this new function in May 2007, he has been Deputy Director of the RS Government Office for European Affairs. The Government has appointed him Deputy Chairman of the NLB d.d. Supervisory Board. At the same time, in the fall of 2005 he also became Head of the Advisory Group on the Privatisation of NLB. Peter Ješovnik is also a member of the Supervisory Board of the Centre for the European Perspective, the Supervisory Board of the Cohesion Fund and a member of the Management Board of the NK Maribor Pivovarna Laško football club.

Milan Podpečan

Member

Born in 1936, is Chairman of the Management Board of the Slovenian Indemnity Fund d.d.. He has a university degree in economics. In the period 1962 – 1975 he worked at Metalka in Ljubljana in the departments of sales and purchasing, and finance and foreign trade. From 1975 to 1986 he was General Manager of Gorenje’s sales - and - manufacturing company in Vienna; in 1982 he was also a member of Gorenje’s business reorganisation/restructuring committee, in charge of the foreign trade network. In the years 1986 – 1994 he was General Manager of Gorenje’s investment company Beteiligungsgesellschaft m.b.H in Vienna. In 1994 and 1995, however, he managed Metalka’s investment company, also in Vienna. He has extensive experience in marketing, finance and enterprise management. Milan Podpečan is also a member of the Supervisory Board of Petrol d.d.

Andrej Presečnik

Born in 1958, has been General Manager of Zgornjesavinjska kmetijska zadruga Mozirje z.o.o. (ZKZ Mozirje) since 2004. He has a university degree in chemistry. ZKZ Mozirje is a major agricultural cooperative in Slovenia characterised by a diversity of business operations and a strong retail network. Andrej Presečnik has been working at the co - op since 1981. Before taking over as General Manager he held various other positions including Manager – Consulting Services and Manager – Sales and Purchasing.  In the period 1990 – 1992 he was Chairman of the Mozirje Municipality Board; from 1994 to 2004 he was an active member of the Mozirje Municipal Council. During 1998 through to 2003 he was a member of the RTV Slovenija Council for Broadcasting. He also served on various bodies of the Zadružna zveza Slovenje co-op association.  Andrej Presečnik is a member of the Management Board of Kapitalska zadruga, which is a majority owner of Deželna banka Slovenije d.d., and a member of the Supervisory Board of Ljubljanske mlekarne, d.d.

Gregor Sluga, M.Sc., MBA (Financial Management)

Born in 1966, has been Advisor to CEO of KD Holding d.d. since 2003. Having finished his Master’s degree in science, he graduated in 1991 from the Faculty of Economics, Ljubljana, which he followed by an MBA in Financial Management. After completing his internship, he took a job at the Ministry of Finance in 1992 as Secretary of the then Securities and Stock Exchange Commission. When the Agency for the Securities Market was established in 1994, he became Head of the Licensing Department. He continued to work at the Agency in various capacities until 2004; his last position was Assistant Director and Manager of the Securities Market Department  (1999 – 2004). He has been Advisor to CEO of KD Group d.d. and KD Holding d.d. since 2003. He is a member of the Supervisory Board of Deželna banka Slovenije d.d., Ljubljana. Holding in Gorenje: 55 GRVG shares.
