Mirjana Dimc Perko – born in 1967 in Maribor. In 1990 she graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Business in Maribor, specialising in banking and finance; in 1992 she acquired the enterprise valuer’s license from the Slovenian Institute of Auditors; in 2001 she finished her MBA at the IEDC Business School, Bled. She is fluent in English and she also reads and writes German.
From 1992 to 1995 she was partner and director of Inconsult d.o.o., a private company specialising in enterprise valuation and investment advice, where she has been employed once again since March 2005. In the period 1995 - 2005 she worked at the Triglav asset management company, where she first started as Manager – Projects and Analyses; she was promoted to vice-president and director of the Triglav Steber I d.d. managed fund in 1999. During that time she acquired valuable experience in relation to enterprise management, restructuring, sales of companies to strategic partners, valuations and purchases of future high-growth companies, endowment capital, mergers, takeovers etc., and is an expert in corporate and global finance.
She was also a member of several corporate supervisory boards. She is a member of the Skupna pokojninska družba, d.d., supervisory board and is also involved in professional associations such as the IEDC Slovenija MBA Alumni club, a member of the Manager Association’s Young Manager managing board (Mladi Manager, Združenje Manager), and a member of the YES Association and the SDBP Association (Slovene Dutch Business Platform Association).
