The Supervisory Board of Gorenje, d.d., today at its 20th Meeting discussed and adopted the Non-audited Half-Yearly Report of Gorenje d.d. and the Gorenje Group.

Leading household manufacturers had jointly decided to participate at the new international HOME APPLIANCES @ IFA 2008 fair taking place from August 29th to September 3rd this year in Berlin. Among them is Gorenje which will use the opportunity to present the numerous novelties and innovations.

On the 26th June 2008 Gorenje opened a new distribution centre in a city Stožok in Slovakia, which is positioned 220 kilometres east from Slovakian main capital Bratislava. Main reasons for investment valued 2,7 million Euros are sales expansion in Slovakia and high rent costs of warehouse capacities.
